Hatton Parents' Voice
Hatton Parents' Voice is an open meeting enabling all our parents/carers to be actively involved in day-to-day Academy life. This provides a platform to meet with other parents/carers and staff for open discussion on a range of Academy topics also to keep up to date with Academy news.
Meetings take place once a term. No obligation to attend every time - just turn up to hear the topic speaker and/or to take part in the discussions. Topics are set by those attending. This is an opportunity for parents/carers to discuss issues or concerns they feel affect the Academy with members of the Senior Leadership Team and, from time to time, for the Academy to seek parents/carers views too. Examples of previous topics include Life Skills, Gifted, Talented and More Able, Bullying, Behaviour Watch, Ofsted Report, Homework/home learning, FROG vitual learning platform, Extra Curricular, Interpreting Reports, Policy consultation, Year 8 and Post 16 Options, Well-Being Award for Schools, Edulink.
For further information or to add an item to the agenda, please contact Vanessa Forbes on firstname.lastname@example.org
Next meeting is on Monday 24th September at 7 pm here at the Academy (including the Home School Association meeting).
