Sir Christopher Hatton

October 2012 Visit

Visitors from Nepal

In October, Kamala Pageni, Jamuna KC, Kalpana Bhattarai and Bandana Kafle from Balodaya High School in Nepal visited Sir Christopher Hatton Academy.

They taught music, dance and Nepalese to many of our students. Year 11 was lucky to see a full dance performance from the Nepalese students in assembly.

The school council helped raise £172 by selling Nepalese bracelets and this will help send a Nepalese student to their school.

During the summer break Mr Hall, Miss Mason, Megan North and Bethany Jackson visited the school in Nepal, where they taught dance and sport to the Nepalese children, which helped to make the school partnership stronger.

During their time in Wellingborough the Nepalese visitors were invited to the Mayor‘s office in Wellingborough and also did all the tourist sites in London. We hope they enjoyed their visit.

Staff say a fond farewell Mr Hall & Mrs Bishop with visitors.
