As a result of changes to government guidance on school uniform, we are reviewing our uniform policy and would like to hear the views of parents, carers, students, staff and other stakeholders.

The new guidance asks schools to limit the number of branded uniform items in order to keep costs as low as possible for families. Our proposals include:

• Limiting Academy-branded items to the blazer, blue PE top, jumper and tie

• Introducing an Academy-approved skirt as an optional item (trousers may still be worn)

• Allowing plain black, non-logo shorts for PE instead of branded shorts

• Offering a black Academy-branded jumper as an optional item
